Overview
Prism makes transfers on Solana that don’t read as transfers. It routes your swaps and sends through a burst of throwaway relays and decoys, all packed into one transaction you sign.
- No pool. Nothing is deposited or held in a shared balance.
- No custody. Nobody holds your funds at any point.
- No other people. Your route doesn’t depend on anyone else’s deposits.
What you get is a trail that’s hard to follow.
How a route works
- Split. The amount is split into parts.
- Relay. Each part hops through throwaway wallets created for this transaction only.
- Decoys. Extra branches go to wallets that look just like the real destination.
- Land. Everything happens inside one transaction you sign, so it lands at once.
Solana’s new 4 KB transactions leave enough room to fit the whole route, relays and decoys included, in a single signature.
Swap
Swaps use best-price routing through Jupiter, with one twist: the output can land in someone else’s wallet. On-chain it reads as your swap. There is no transfer instruction to the recipient anywhere.
- Pick the token you pay with and the token you want.
- To pay someone, turn on Send output to another wallet and enter their address.
- Review the rate and sign once.
Send
Send SOL or any SPL token. The amount is split and relayed through throwaway wallets with decoys mixed in, then lands in the recipient’s wallet.
- Enter the recipient’s address and the amount.
- Pick Light, Standard or Maximum.
- Hold the send button, then sign the one transaction.
Choosing a level
Each level trades transaction size for a harder trail. The route is sized to fit what your wallet can sign.
Custody
Your funds never sit in a pool or with anyone else. The throwaway wallets are created inside your transaction and used only there. If the transaction doesn’t go through, nothing moves.
Good practice
A route hides the path. Your habits can still give it away.
- Avoid unique amounts. An odd figure like 13.37 SOL is easy to match on both ends.
- Leave some time. Sending right after receiving links the two by timing.
- Use a higher level for larger amounts. More decoys means more places the payment could have gone.

Do I deposit into a pool?
No. There is no pool and no shared balance. Your funds move only inside the transaction you sign.
Does anyone hold my funds?
No. Prism never takes custody. The throwaway wallets exist only for the length of that one transaction.
How many transactions do I sign?
One. Every split, hop and decoy is packed into a single transaction, using the room Solana’s new 4 KB transaction size allows.
What does the recipient of a swap see?
The swap output arriving in their wallet. On-chain the transaction reads as your swap, with no transfer instruction addressed to them.
Which tokens can I send?
SOL or any SPL token.
Is my payment untraceable?
No tool can promise that. Prism makes the trail hard to follow by mixing real hops with decoys. How hard depends on the level you pick and on your own habits, covered under Good practice.
